Besides being easy this machine is so convenient. I am the only one in my house that drinks coffee, to make a whole pot when I am on the run is senseless. I set my timer to be ready when I get up in the morning and turn itself off a couple hours later,just in case I happen to have a day to sleep in. When my kids come to visit it's so nice to have a quick cup of fresh coffee to drink at anytime they want one instead of having a pot sitting around that won't be fresh when they do want a cup.
